Park History

Black Hawk RV Park & Cabins was purchased by the current owner shortly before the COVID-19 Pandemic. It was a modest park with only 10 RV sites. Plagued with litter, a struggling community of guests, and a questionable bathhouse — it was a real fixer upper.

Most would have scoffed at the thought of purchasing the park in its condition; however, the new owner saw the potential and beauty. The beautiful meadow, widespread views, babbling creek, and cliff bands surrounding you — all it needed was someone with vision and care.

Today, the park is clean and polished. It has 110 sites with full hookups, 9 cabins, and respectful long-term and short-term guests. Most importantly, it’s a place where people come together to make lifelong memories with their families.
